The staff at the Center for Facial & Oral Surgery are supremely committed and caring individuals. All of them have been with the practice for many years, some since its inception. Their dedication to patients, the profession, and the community is unsurpassed. From “front to back” they understand that patients who are undergoing surgical procedures, including their friends and loved ones, may naturally be apprehensive about the entire experience. Keeping this in mind, they strive through empathy, warmth, and education to put the patient and their loved ones at ease regarding their care. In addition to various other certifications that they possess, all of the surgical assistants are certified as such, and every staff member in the office is CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) certified.
Dr. Jamie Choi grew up in Plano, TX, graduating from Plano Senior High. She is pleased to return to her hometown to practice oral surgery.
Dr. Choi completed her undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology degree with honors. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC at Houston) for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS), graduating in 2016. She was fortunate to be able to continue her dental education at the UTHSC, earning her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completing six years of rigorous training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the largest medical center in the world, where she was trained to perform the most advanced oral and reconstructive surgical procedures.
Dr. Choi is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and her practice interests include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, and maxillofacial trauma.
In her free time, Dr. Choi enjoys playing various instruments including violin, piano, and guitar. She also loves to exercise, regularly taking spin and barre classes. Dr. Choi is fluent in both English and Korean. She is happy to be back in her hometown and honored to have the privilege to treat patients in the community.
Dr. Jeffrey S. Dombrowski was born and raised in Michigan where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Michigan State University graduating with high honor. He received his dental degree with honors from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry. He then completed a one year internship with the Louisiana State University Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Following that he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and then successfully completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals Program in Dallas, Texas. In Fact, Dr. Dombrowski and Dr. Nail were co-residents, completing their residency during the same time period. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and a Texas state licensed physician and dentist.
Dr. Dombrowski is now reunited with Dr. Nail after having a successful Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During his time in Colorado, Dr. Dombrowski was President of the Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, President of the Colorado Springs Dental Society, and Director of the Seattle Study Club of Colorado. He also served on the board of directors of the Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons for 10 years as well as holding several other offices and positions in organized dentistry. Dr. Dombrowski is a member of numerous professional societies and organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons.
Dr. Dombrowski practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, performing the removal of wisdom teeth as well as other diseased teeth, placement of dental implants and bone grafting for oral rehabilitation, corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstructive procedures, biopsy and removal of oral and facial lesions and laser treatment for snoring and sleep apnea. He maintains staff privileges at various local hospitals and has dedicated himself to take the best possible care of his patients.
Dr. Dombrowski has been married since 2010 to his wife Catherine and has two beautiful twins born in 2013. He has a great variety of interests including travel, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, gourmet cooking and reading, but most of all, spending time with his family.
